TGIF – Don’t Eat That Honey! is our weekly Friday feature that recommends what NOT to eat when you dine out on the weekend. The temptation is greatest on the weekend. Whether you are losing weight on your own or have joined our weight loss program, “rewarding” yourself after a long week of work is most difficult to resist. This series will highlight the most dangerous foods to avoid.
Cheesecake Factory – Bistro Shrimp Pasta
Who doesn’t love Cheesecake Factory. There’s something for everybody! Portions are large and the place is usually pretty high-energy. Well, each one of these babies and you’ll have enough energy for a 20mile run! This baby is loaded with 3,120 calories, 89 grams of saturated fat and 1,090 mg of sodium. That’s 320 to 520 more calories than the average “moderately active” male aged 19 to 30 is advised to eat over the course of an entire day! AN ENTIRE DAY! In 1 meal! Unbelievable.
I don’t think the nutritional facts below are incomplete because there’s got to be some protein in the meal since there are shrimps, but Cheesecake Factory doesn’t list all the nutritional values in their published material.
