Physician Assistant

Rozina Omidi, P.A.-C

Rozina began practicing medicine as a midwife in Iran. She served there for about 8 years before getting married and making the decision to come to the United States. While she loved her time as a midwife she soon discovered the possibilities available to her as a Physician Assistant. She went back to UC Davis for her new license and graduated in 2020.

She started working in Internal Medicine and quickly realized that she loved being able to offer her patients a higher level of care. She believes that the first step to good health is preventative care and educating her patients about their conditions. Her goal is to team up with her patients to create an open dialog that will allow her to intimately care for them in every way. She truly loves her patients and feels their trust and confidence in her.

After her 2 years with Internal Medicine she is excited to branch into Family Practice with Healthy Living Primary Care. She is looking forward to the variety of conditions that will present themselves in Family medicine, as well as the opportunities to expand her knowledge. Many of her previous patients are following her here and we are excited to welcome them. Several of them loved being able to speak to her in Farsi, making their visits much more comfortable.

Rozina has been married since 2006. She has a 12 year old son whom she loves to hang out with. Her weekends are filled spending time with her family, but in her down time you will find her taking classes to keep her mind fresh and to quench her love of learning.
