Raised on the island of Maui, Dr. Rodel Maulit earned a bachelor’s degree and medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine before completing an Adult Psychiatry Residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Hawaiʻi. With special interests in autism spectrum disorders, LGBTQ+ affirming psychiatric care, and performance psychiatry, Dr. Maulit takes a compassionate, individualized approach to treatment across the lifespan. As a former collegiate student-athlete and coach with the Nevada Wolf Pack Athletic Department, as well as a mentor to high school students, Dr. Maulit has developed a deep appreciation for resilience, personal growth, and the unique mental health challenges faced by young people and high performers—experiences that continue to inform and strengthen his clinical practice.
