Graciela was born and raised here in Sacramento and she earned her bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Food and Nutrition from our local university Sac State in 2016. Her love and passion for food and nutrition was deep rooted during her upbringing, specifically cooking meals with her mother, and since then she has developed a passion for food and nutrition. Her philosophy is eating to feed the body for fuel and cooking to feed the soul.

Once she graduated, she gained an extensive background in nutrition. She began her journey into the field, travelled with her philosophy to the East Coast and now back to her hometown. Her journey into the medical field began with a strong desire to understand how food affects the human body and its connection to disease prevention and treatment. Graciela has a deep passion for integrating nutrition and healthcare into optimal health. She considers that overall health begins with the mind and understanding of human behavior along with emotional, social, and physical wellbeing. She blends her passion for food with a deep understanding of its impact on both physical and mental health to help her patients achieve their health goals.
