Leesa is a board-certified nurse practitioner who provides care for individuals from adolescence through older adulthood. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Emory University’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing in Atlanta.

Leesa grew up locally and is deeply committed to supporting the health and well-being of her community.

Her care philosophy centers on informed decision making and collaboration. She integrates evidence-based care with an individualized approach and finds fulfillment in partnering with patients to address health challenges, combining attention to detail with a holistic perspective.

When not in the clinic, Leesa enjoys trail running and weightlifting—activities that inspire her passion for helping others recover from injuries and stay active long-term. She’s always excited for a conversation about running! She also loves cooking nutritious and tasty meals, trying new cuisines, spending time with family, and traveling. She has lived in Sweden and Jordan and has visited over 30 U.S. states.

Leesa’s clinical experience includes a range of settings, among them the UCSF Headache Center, where she focused on chronic headache management, and the Georgia Farmworker Health Program, where she provided care to migratory and seasonal agricultural workers and their families in rural Georgia and Florida.

Leesa enjoys staying up to date with medical research and technology to provide the best possible care.
