Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 cup fresh kale leaves stems removed
  • 1 banana
  • 1 apple cored and chopped
  • 1/2 cucumber chopped
  • 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger peeled and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup coconut water or any preferred liquid
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine the spinach, kale, banana, apple, cucumber, ginger, chia seeds, coconut water, and lemon juice.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add more coconut water until you reach the desired consistency.
  • Add ice cubes if you prefer a colder smoothie and blend again until the ice is crushed.
  • Pour into two glasses and serve immediately. Enjoy your refreshing Green Detox Smoothie!

Notes

  • You can add other greens like Swiss chard or romaine lettuce for variety.
  • For a protein boost, add a scoop of your favorite protein powder or a tablespoon of nut butter.
