Chris grew up in Tennessee. Chris joined the US Navy and spent 10 years stationed in San Diego, CA where he met his wife. They then moved to Sacramento, CA where he used his GI Bill to attend California State University, Sacramento to study Exercise Science & Kinesiology. He became an EMT and a CPR instructor and then went to Samuel Merritt University to pursue a Masters in Nursing and become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Chris is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. As a FNP, Chris believes the key in providing quality patient care is listening and learning about the patient so any plan is co-developed in partnership with the patient. His passion for health and fitness is the driving force in working with patients to create a life of wellness and longevity.
Chris likes to spend his spare time with his family and staying physically active including coaching “family workout hour” with his wife and two teenage children.
