And the fight starts with you! Take a stand against heart disease and join us at Healthy Living to bring awareness to your heart.

For American Heart Month, we’re joining the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and The Heart Truth® to spread the word that reducing the risks of heart disease is more achievable when you’re part of a team. #OurHearts are healthier together. Visit www.nhlbi.nih.gov/heartmonth for more information. Let’s encourage and motivate each other to be heart healthy!

This first week is a call to Move! Heart health starts with just a few steps, grab a friend, family member, or fur baby and take a walk this week.

NIH recommends a minimum of 150 minutes a week of moderate activity to help reduce blood pressure, cholesterol, and even encourage weight management.

Post your pictures of physical activity this week on our web page or Facebook page @DrJoyLiu.
