Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19)

The health and safety of our patients and employees are our highest priority.  We will remain open during our normal business hours to serve the community. We are here for anything you need during this time of concern.  We are taking all necessary steps to continue operating safely. Our staff is continuously sanitizing the waiting room, patient exam rooms, and restrooms to help reduce the spread of the virus.

We have been taking care of patients remotely with video visits for the last two months. Now, we are happy to open our doors again for annual physicals and to any asymptomatic patients who prefer in-person visits. We understand that you might have concerns going to the doctor’s office, but we want to assure you that we have established new protocol to ensure the office is a clean and safe place for our patients and our staff. At the same time, we encourage patients to continue using video visits to take care of your health and eliminate exposure. Patients have had great experiences with video visits so far.

  • In-Office Visits. We are open to see any asymptomatic patients. Expect a new office flow when you do come in.
  • Video Visits. See the video visit tips page for instructions and support information. We still encourage you to use video visits where feasible. You can start video visits on any computer, smartphone, or a tablet.
  • Sick Patients. If you are sick, do not come inside our office; use video visits. We are screening all patients to limit any exposure to our staff and to our healthy patients. If a video visit is not feasible, we will see you in your car, in our parking lot. We have protocols in place to take care of sick patients and also to keep everybody safe.
  • Your Existing Appointments. We will keep your appointment as scheduled.  We encourage all patients to continue follow up appointments and to stay compliant to their current treatment plan. Concern about COVID-19 is not a reason to ignore your overall health. We can take care all your needs via video visits.
  • Labs and Imaging. All labs and imaging centers have safety protocols in place. If you have upcoming blood or imaging tests, please go ahead and get them done.
  • Prescription Refills. Ask your pharmacy to send us refill requests as normal. Many pharmacies will deliver your refills to you. Inquire and take advantage of this service if available to further reduce your social contact and potential exposure.
  • COVID-19 Testing. Your provider will determine if a test is needed via a video visit. If a test is needed, you will be swab outside the office, in your car. Symptomatic patients should self-quarantine and limit all social contact. If you do not have respiratory illness, you do NOT need to be tested due to the availability of such tests.

Steps you can take to protect yourself and others:

1.      Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
2.      Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
3.      Avoid close contact with others who are sick
4.      Stay home if you are sick
5.      Cover your coughs and sneezes
6.      Clean and disinfect surfaces daily
